This summer, I have become more and more invested in discovering some of the best local talent here in the Twin Cities when it comes to fashion. One of the best parts of this is getting to see the creativity of new designers and the attention to detail and quality that Minnesotans have. I recently purchased several new items from some amazing Twin Cities brands that you should most definitely check out.
Askov Finlayson
This menswear brand caters to the modern man who enjoys the outdoors. With a collection of classic and timeless pieces mixed with modern graphic prints, Askov Finlayson is perfect for the modern Midwesterner. Not only do they love creating great menswear, but love fighting climate change. Their brand’s mission is to “Keep the North Cold” by pledging to invest more into fighting climate change than their products cost the planet. Check out products like my North Star Tee and many amazing others over on their site.
Saint Minneapolis
In the Twin Cities, you usually have to decided if you’re more of a St. Paul person or Minneapolis. Luckily you don’t have to with Saint Minneapolis, a new Twin Cities-based brand that sells clean, modern clothing for men and women. The clean aesthetic allows the pieces, such as my Script Tee, extremely versatile. They also seek to partner with local artists to create stunning fashion collaborations.

MBMB is one of those amazing little boutique looking sites with some of the most Pinterest-y products I’ve seen in awhile. I picked up this simple, printed bandana from her shop, but she has so much more. From sweatshirts that simply read “Midwest” to sassy greeting cards featuring Cher, her site has it all. Pick up something from her shop for that quirky friend in your life who you’re never sure what to get, or honestly for yourself! You honestly can’t go wrong at MBMB.
