This fall and winter my go to color has been yellow. It is such a versatile color and comes in many different shades and varieties. You can stand out with a bold hyper yellow [which is very on trend among streetwear crowds] or enjoy a more seasonal golden yellow. The best part of yellow is that it is a statement color that anyone can wear. It is sure to liven up your closet and your instagram feed [it’s the perfect color if you want to pop off the screen].
Varsity
This first look has been a favorite of mine all of FW17. I am a big fan of outerwear and nothing is better than a thrifted varsity jacket like the one I am wearing. Thrift stores are great places to find one of a kind pieces that no one else owns. Underneath the jacket is a golden yellow, almost orange-ish, 50s inspired pajama shirt from ASOS with a simple white tee underneath. The jeans are black Levi’s 514s that I cut off myself. The look was finished with simple black and white tube style socks and classic black and white Chuck Taylor All Star Converse.
Minimal Street
The best part of this outfit is how simple it is. I once again wore the DIY Levi cutoffs with a simple yellow Vans tee. On top of that, was a black and white neoprene jacket from Philadelphia label the CXX. The jacket is extremely comfortable and is a great transitional piece. I completed the look with the same tube socks and a pair of Nike Air sock style shoes that feature buckle strap details instead of laces.

Until next time!
you are iconic, yellow never looked so good🌟

What is your opinion on cargo shorts taking the fashion scene by storm?

2017’s answer to cargo shorts is actually something called camp or utility shorts. they feature larger pockets, flat front, and usually come in colors such as khaki or navy. definitely look out for them in summer 2018.
